According to an article i read, each VW dealer gets 1-3 allocations so the mark ups are going to be wild for a while, then if the rebate is killed, they will just sit on the lots haha

At minimum will have a least a few days notice if the rebate is going away. The wild west situation on car lots if it ends up being like that will be a sight to behold. Although it seems like it likely will not be done that way and there will be plenty of notice.
VW dealers near me have a few first editions listed for over $70k. Not sure if there is any markup. They look nice, but at the end of the day they are just an EV minivan with less than 300 miles of range.

This dealer is stating a range of 231 miles. Probably under 200 miles in the Northeast during the winter.
hehehe…under 300 is Most EVs right now, under 240 used to be the ‘gold standard’ but now anyone would sneer at it.
Highway driving… Under 200.
Sad… Basically a local commuter instead of a road tripper.
I saw one today at the local EA charger. Looks kinda cartoonish in person with the two-tone paint and long body lines. I didn’t have a chance to snap a pic but it’s certainly unique.
Rode in the launch edition yesterday, surprised how well it moved for its size and weight.
