Any Id.Buzz deals to be had?
it looks like I can get a 10% dealer discount and a $7500 rebate. And with the little info I have, the payment is still $800-$900 per month

What do you consider a deal, and what percent dealer discount would be required to get there?
You don’t need any info from a dealer to figure this out, just the LH calculator and a bit of time to gather the required inputs.
(Start with a dealer discount of 10% and keep increasing it until you get to your target deal. Is this realistic?)
Yes I was not clear. I meant are there any leasehakrs who recently leased an Id.Buzz? We had threads from months ago but I could not reply to them. The consensus was many of us expected significant drops in lease payments on these vehicles in several months. I do not consider $800 per month a deal. $500-$600, yes.
I understood what you were asking
, I was just shining the light on the path to figure out if what you want is possible.
If it takes a 40% dealer discount to get to your desired payment range, then it wouldn’t be worth the time pursuing this vehicle. if it’s 13%… then it could very well be feasible if you already have an opportunity to pick one up for 10% off from the dealer.
I’ve got my work cut out for me then, thank you. Hope to send you a good update!
Learn how lease math works first before doing anything…learn how to use the calculator here or better yet put a spreadsheet together so you really understand how a payment/DAS builds.
Wow I got $17k off including rebates!!! And it is still about $800 per month!! What is vw doing???
They want people to buy it not lease. That’s what they are doing. VW has been falling down without a parachute.
Exactly. Sometimes the lease just doesn’t make sense. At the current time, you buy an ID Buzz because you want one, not because it’s a deal.
I signed a different vehicle at the end of last month that was 64% off MSRP. It still didn’t make sense to lease because the residual value was so low and the MF so high–likely the same for the ID Buzz here. I financed nonetheless because I wanted the vehicle.
C’mon you can’t not tell us!!!
