I am looking at my first EV. Yesterday I went to a dealer in the SF Bay Area and found a golf SEL for $3950 drive off, and $189 (plus tax) per month. I will get my $2500 rebate from CA too.
I had an offer of $3950 drive off, plus $127 per month including tax for a Golf SE, but I would prefer to get the extra features on the SEL model.
Interested to hear what people think of the SEL deal.
Both the SE and SEL Premium e-Golf have the same lease program: .00080 MF and residual of 41% for 36 months, 10,000 miles per year.
$7,500 lease cash and $1,500 conquest cash for non-VW owners and lessees.
Assuming this includes the $1,500 conquest cash, it looks like the sales price for this deal is $31,500 on a $36,415 MSRP car. Dealers on TrueCar in the Bay Area are selling e-Golf SEL Premium for $32,877, so this looks like an excellent selling price.
Does the $3,950 drive-off include registration, upfront taxes, first month’s, and doc fee? Or is it a $3,950 down payment?
