In my quest to find another large SUV to replace my Infiniti, I received an offer on a white SEL RLine Atlas. My plan is to wait and see if Infiniti sweetens the December rebates but this is a back up. I’m assuming I could do better with the discount on the Atlas, but would love some constructive advice.
Details:
First month due at signing… 36 month 10k per year……location is 18202 PA and 9 percent tax in payment already.
The SE model is probably a better value proposition, the residual is 1% higher and the MSRP is $12k less, that’s a pretty steep discount on a ‘26, but if things are slow maybe you can find someone willing to get to 10%. The SE model seems to be the sweet spot most of the time with VW’s. Maybe look at other vehicles for better lease programs.
So instead of a ‘good’ lease, the OP is looking for the best lease deal he can get on this vehicle under the current circumstances. In this case, we have to see if the discount is proper for the current market and if the MF is not being jacked up. I can’t speak to the discount, but it appears the MF is being raised by .001 according to rate finder. Buy rate is .00113
Thank you for the response. The discount seems consistent with what others are getting. Is there a way I can check on the money factor and what type of difference are we talking about in payment please?
I think that’s unnecessarily harsh. If OP is aware that there are cheaper deals out there for other models in the same class but still wishes to pursue an Atlas, I don’t think that’s anyone else’s business.
I think the point of the site should be education, not passing judgment on the financial decisions of strangers.
Thanks for the advice, everyone. I’m just trying to wait out the month and see if Infiniti sweetens their incentives, which are nonexistent, for Pennsylvania this month.
I had an Atlas years ago and really liked it… I think the R-Line is an attractive vehicle. My first choice obviously is another QX 80 ….we shall see what December brings. Also if anyone knows another option for a luxury full size SUV under 1000 a month please feel free to chime in.
Thanks for the advice however, I’m not shopping a payment. Waiting till the December incentives come out next week seems like a wise decision for me at this point. I simply posted to get some advice on the Atlas deal and to solicit some advice on any other luxury SUVs in my range right now. I would love an X7, but I’m realistic. A better value at this time is a QX 80. If I want to save 300 a month I could get an Altas.
The Atlas and Qx80 are in different categories. For the amount you are spending, don’t compromise on what you want vs what will just meet your basic needs.
