So I’m wrapped up in this XC90 T8 mess. Hired a broker and generated the Costco pin and then the ABA pin.
Signed the deal 11/12. Waited for the word for the OK to pickup.
Dealer called me 11/20 and said deal was rejected and you got to resign the same contract. All the #s are the same. Signed again 11/20 and they said come and get it. Get a call today and dealer said your ABA PIN was rejected.
Now I’m trying to decide what to do from here. I had a valid PIN, now it is not.
Walk away and find another dealer to match numbers plus ABA
Don’t think it’s even an option. I can’t generate another with my account. ABA website wont let me
You can use ABA pin that you created already. Shit really hit the fan on this
Your dealer has to call affinity programs and get that pin re-validated. Your pin was already redeemed, so they have to call and manually do it again. Why was your contract rejected? NH has no sales tax.
Dealer told me it was a computer glitch on the day that I signed and that’s why it was rejected. 11/12

Is there a number for consumers to call and check if the pin is active? One dealer is trying to tell that all pins on or before 11/15 were cancelled.

Leased an XC90 today.
The dealer entered my aba pin and it didn’t work. The message that popped up on his computer said that the PIN expired on 11/21 (I created the pin on 11/19). He kept trying and eventually the pin worked.
He did have me try to download a new pin and the message I got in the aba site was that my level of access for ABA doesn’t qualify for a Volvo benefit.
After how many attempts? Just curious. Same pin?
No, all r pins before 11/21 were invalidated on that date.
So how was the dealer able to apply the pin?
Don’t know. Smells like a chargeback.

Same pin. After about 10 minutes he said it worked - and showed me the screen and it was applied.
I have a ABA pin generated on 11/16 and just put a deposit on a XC90 to pickup next week. Will my PIN now no longer work because I was not a member for 90+ days? I have Costco as well and without both discounts I will not be able to get the car. What can I do to subvert any issues at the dealer?
It appears if you didn’t sign before 11/21 it’s not going to work.
