I was wondering if anyone has done better than 642/month with taxes rolled in for momentum with blind spot monitoring. The dealer said they included the $3500 off as well as the $750 Costco card rebate. They said it’s $540/mo before tax. It looked like some folks got below $500/mo here, but the dealer said that’s because they don’t have to pay tax all up front like in Maryland. I’m sure I can do a little better, but is it possible to get near $500 for this car _after tax___in MD for 39 mo. lease and 10MSDs and 0 down?
This was the price with 10 MSDs. Does anyone have any advice or suggestions? TIA!
Do you have all numbers - MSRP, selling price, exact model? It’s true that your payments will be slightly higher due to MD tax. Don’t go for 39 months, do 36.
$51690 sale price. I think the lease rate was $689 with tax and tags rolled in.
Is there any other place I could look for more cash to come out? Is the discount from MidSommar. Also, these were both 2018s. The consensus that I have heard so far is that they can’t find 2017 Momentum with blind spot monitoring without many other packages.
So, it’s for 2018 T6 MOM? First you said “they included the $3500 off” - $3,500 conquest is for 2017 and $2,500 (I think) for 2018. You get 8% off on a 2018 popular SUV, I think it’s not bad.
I get $633/mo with tax for 36/12 with 10 MSD and everything else due at signing. Don’t know the numbers for 39 months. I’d try to find a 2017 to get a better deal, it has $750 bonus and $3,500 conquest.
From Edmunds:
2018 T6 MOM - .00113 and 57% (36/12)
Now, I went to another dealer and I have a really good sales price to work off of, but I think the lease payments they are asking for are still too high:
2017 Volvo XC90 T6 Momentum
MSRP 57390
Selling Price: 44735
Rebates, 3500 Conquest, 750 Costco
Term 36 MO, 12k miles
MF .0012 or 2.9% no MSD
Tax rate: 6%
Drive off: 619.27 (taxes rolled in) per mo plus tag and title plus dealer fees
Drive off with 10 MSD was $577 per mo plus tag and title plus dealer fees
I think I should be able to get the lease price down much more. The sales price is pretty good. Any advice please??? TIA!
Here is what I calculated. The dealer told me my numbers were all wrong. He also just told me it was a “new car” with 7000 miles :
MSRP: 57790
Sale price: 44735
Residual: 33518 (58%)
MF: .0013
Term: 36 mo
Fees: 1500 (my own estimate)
Rebates 4250 (Costco and Conquest)
Adj Cap: 41985
Depreciation: 8467
Base Payment: 235
Rent: 98
Base plus rent: 333
Base plus rent plus tax: 353
If the sale price is after rebates then you shouldn’t be subtracting the rebates to get to your adjusted cap cost - you’re doubling the rebates by doing that
The tax is actually about 105/month after the rent charge is taken into account.
The deal he’s giving is good…
If you don’t like the idea of leasing a car with 7000 miles.
If you can put 2500 down instead of 620. I can get you into a car with a bit higher MSRP for the same 619.84 with $2119.36 Which is pretty much processing, tag/title, acquisition, and first payment.
