I am looking at an S90 lease. The current incentives of $6250 (T6), combined with the $3000 A-Plan, and MSD’s, make for an excellent opportunity. However, I still have 3 months on my current lease.
Does anybody happen to track or know what incentives have been on this car for the past year or 2?
I figure if there is a chance the incentives will be gone at the end of the May, I will just pull the trigger early. But, if these have been going for a while, I will wait it out.
Also would be nice to know what this rebate has maxed out at for So. Cal. in the past year.
Thanks for the reply. I have read a ton of the posts. Was just worried that the $6250 would disappear on June 1st. I am not familiar with how long these types of rebates remain so some type of history would help.
I have seen everything from $2000 to $7750. And I get it, a deal today, does not mean it will be there next week.
it doesn’t matter what incentive, the costco A plan expires at the beginning of July, and Volvo dealers said they will not combine A plan with other incentives highers than 6% in the future starting from June. so this makes Volvo deals hard to get.
That’s not what he asked and he didn’t understand what you said earlier. Or maybe you both don’t exactly understand how a-plan, Volvo incentives and dealer discounts work.
I have A-Plan with work, and Costco. I am going to assume these cant be stacked. That is not what I was asking.
Volvo has 2 incentives right now one for $3750 and one for $2500. On June 1st, these are gone. Just wondering if there was anyway to check the rebate history, and determine if I am safe to wait another month or 2 before buying. If the MF takes a (further) dump, or incentives go away, then I will either buy tomorrow, before that happens, or drop it off of my list and wait till August for something else.
@28firefighter has already answered the part about Volvo incentives. A-plan from Costco (and $3k S90 cash) stays until July 2. Your employer’s plan stays. A-plan has 2 parts: 6% off MSRP selling price + cash. You can negotiate more than a-plan 6% off now, but will not be able to after June 1 if Volvo keeps it’s promise to enforce a-plan’s 6% discount.
You need to track how the vehicle is selling month to month in the US, that will give an inkling as to what types of incentives/RV can be expected. As a data point, when I leased my 2018 S90 st the end of December 2017, there were $13,250 in incentives between lease cash, allowance, enhanced Aplan and holiday bonus. But residuals were crap so my T6 leased for $320/mth with a 12% off msrp dealer discount.
