Hi there, I’m looking to lease a new Volvo, and want to take advantage of loyalty/costco by co-signing with my father who has both in his household. Does the car need to be registered to him in order to receive those incentives? Might be a problem for me for insurance reasons.
if he cosigns, it WILL be registered to him.
that’s incorrect. in ny can be registered to main, co, or both.

You may have to register and insure it using the same address to get the incentives. I guess once registered you can change the insurance to wherever it is garaged.
