Volkswagen Tiguan S offer in Florida

So after being inspired by the Volkswagen deal that happened in California I just got this back from the Internet manager:

MSRP: $25,945
Months: 36 months (with first month paid) / 12k miles
MF: 0.00120
RV: 58%

For 268 a month (for 35 months) with 0$ drive offs. This was after getting him to come down from 289 a month with 0 drive offs by showing him the offer sheet from the California deal. I qualify for the college incentive which isn’t included in this quote but it would end up being around 246 a month. I am also think about asking for the family and friends incentives though I don’t know how that works.

Are California and florida such different markets that the deal in California (i believe it was something close to 199 a month) cant be replicated?

Different markets = different incentives etc

If you can stack the friends and family certificate with your recent grad you should be pretty close.

I would compare what incentives are available in your market Vs. here in California. Then what selling price you’re receiving compared to the deal sheet you have.

You’re asking for 12k miles, so your payment will also increase a little compared to most who’ve gone for less.

California also limits the doc fee to $80 while I believe in Florida it can be close to 1k.

Did you have him run the numbers for 12/24? RV is 65 for 12/24 and 66 for 10/24. It might come out better for you. I agree with the other poster on the dealer fees in FL. You need the dealer to come down in discount off the MSRP. I posted a link to a dealer in Jacksonville giving over $6K discount off the $26000 MSRP in another thread.

Here’s the deal I just got in Northern CA for a Tiguan S 4Motion. Keep in mind there’s $3000 cash available to the dealer ($2250 dealer lease cash and $750 dealer regional bonus). Also this is for 24/12. Here are the numbers I got from Edmunds for 24/12 and 36/12: .00140 MF and 66%/59% residual. Also note drive off is $672 with the new grad rebate of $500.

Im going to message them, ill let you know how it goes :stuck_out_tongue:

This is even better deal on a higher msrp car!

Hey,

So these are the numbers I got back from them:

MSRP: $25,965
Months: 36 months/ 12k mies
same RV and MF

for 229 (including tax) and 548 drive offs, which is way better than I was being quoted by the other dealers!

thanks again for finding it

Yay! Great job! I am glad you pursued it and can get a great deal in Florida! Good luck and I hope to see your photos in the trophy forum.

nice deal!
can you provide sell price or breakdown of discount vs lease cash? trying to replicate in midwest

So in the two offers I got the sales price was around 21k, in Florida there is only 2250 dealer cash available, plus the doc fees which ive seen be around 1000$. The discount off the vehicle was hefty however thats mostly to cover the doc fees. Following Seekallpossibilities, you should look for dealer websites who are already offering the car at a discount, in this case they were already selling it for 19k. Other than that I think its also important to know the exact car on the lot that you want and when you inquire about the price link them the car on their website.

When I looked at the O’steen VW FB page they had a breakdown of the $6K off MSRP showing $2250 as VW incentive and $4K dealer incentive plus tax tag and dealer fee. That was pretty transparent which is a good thing when looking for a deal. So hopefully you can use that deal to get one closer to home?
