US BMW CCA Rebate with membership about to expire?

,

Let me start by saying I am ashamed of asking BMW CCA customer service this question lol.

I am picking up a new X5 next week and will apply for the $1000 rebate that same day, my 3 year CCA membership expires in 4 weeks, do I need to renew it to apply for the X5 rebate? or can I still get the rebate even if my membership expires before I get the $1000 check?

You should reup, it’s $60 bucks, and you’re getting a $1000 rebate from that, the ROI makes sense in my book, except I don’t really go for BMWs.

Yea I’m being a little cheap here my plan was renewing in 2 years when the X5 lease had 1 year left haha. But agreed ROI is great, from $160 on 2019 I’d be getting $1500 in rebate ( 19 X3 and 22 X5) it’s $68 after some admin fees.

Some internet stranger will cost you $932 by telling you not to renew because they want to save all those trees from the car club magazines.

Yea you’re right, I think I’m being too cheap here… inflation got me frugal, but to be honest I don’t use the membership at all, I am not a magazine or cars and coffee kind of guy. So I read their policy is a 1yr burn in period I was like well I can save 140 bucks Next 2 years and buy some OEM floor mats for the X5 as dealers now don’t give these for free anymore LOL
