It seems like the drama is done. Dodge CEO said they’d price protect the order and everyone is now agreeing that they will, indeed, price protect the order with the actual programs.
Looks like the only outstanding thing is that the dealer made a clerical error when showing a draft contract that no one ever signed after the order was already placed and agreed to.
If one wants to make the argument that the dealer should be held to that contract, they need to also make the argument that they need to be held to that contract, which specifically states that if the contract won’t fund due to an error, it can be canceled.
So long story short seems to be Dodge is honoring exactly what they said they would.
