2017 i3 REX
MSRP: $57,245
Offer: $2,500 drive-off, $285/mo (includes tax), 24/12k
Which one? Or none?
Hopefully I get some quick responses, cause these are good only this weekend.
Everyone is going to ask for more information such as selling price, whats included in the drive-off, money factor, what incentives were used if any, etc
Its hard to answer without those.
Just by looking at the options given, I would say none. If i had to pick I would say go for the second option. Its 5k more expensive than the first one, and if you roll in the $2500 drive off that puts you effectively at $397~/Mo. Which means you’re paying about $500 more over 2 years for the extra options.
For both, $7,500 Federal and $2,000 lease credit, and $500 corporate

Drive Off is everything.
The total cost of lease for the first one is $8,602 and the second one is $9,239.
Sell price for the first one is $46,195. I don’t qualify for loyalty. One the second it’s $49,745.
57k BMW i3? pass …
374 for an i3? pass again …

These offers took me days. What should I offer back?
52 K MSRP
15% discount
8.5k incentives
Selling price around 38k. Calculate from then on and you should arrive at a payment of around 174 a month with taxes…

The second offer just came back with $285 per month including tax. So total cost of lease is now $9,055 on the $57k MSRP for 12k miles over 24 mos.
Where is the $8,500k incentives coming from?
Thoughts? Much appreciated.
Anyone? Anyone? Much Thanks!!!
Looks pretty good with the dealer discount. Try putting it in the lease format so we can all take a quick look and see all the numbers then I think you will get more replies
I tried it, but not sure if I have all the numbers.
I just called the dealer again and they said the $2,500 drive-off includes everything (including tax, docs, etc.). I don’t qualify for loyalty, but I get corp. So, I get $7,500 + $2,000 + $500. I also get clean fuel from SCE. The monthly of $285 included 9.5% tax. The miles is 12k and NOT 10k.
Discount off the MSRP is good.
If you qualified for bmw loyalty deal would’ve been sweeter.
It’s not a bad deal overall.
Do you need all the features the 57k msrp is offering?
I opted for a 52k msrp i3 because I was mainly focused on low payments.
If the drive off + monthly payments is within your budget go for it.
If you want a lower payment find a lower msrp or counter off more discount off the MSRP.
15-16% OFF MSRP at least. Nothing below 15%. (They might bump the MF though)
AFAIK the 12k 24 month residual is stil 63% and MF is .00152.
Try to find an OL code for $1000
I do think it’s worth driving this car for close to $400/month. No loyalty and high msrp definitely kills the deal for me at least

MF is .00156 this month, not that it will make that big a difference
Try to find an OL code (I think if you drive an X2 this weekend that will get you one), also ask if there is any build out cash left on the 2017 models (but be prepared for them to tell you they included it in your discount). As others have said, the 57k MSRP is causing the relatively high payments as the incentives don’t have as much of an effect on reducing amount of depreciation. Also, good luck finding a 50k 2017 as those have mostly been bought up.
If you are comfortable with this monthly, then price may be comparable to driving a minimally equipped 2018 model (with less of a discount).
