Turning in lease help

They have no obligation to offer a discount, nor do I have to lease another one of their vehicles. But there is certainly no harm in asking, and I don’t feel one bit bad about it. On that same vehicle we did have around $350 in overage miles, took a simple 5 minute phone call to Ford Credit, and they gladly forgave 50% of that balance just for muttering the words “anything you can do for us?”. Why?, because I have another $50k leased Ford parked in the drive-way, and they want to build brand loyalty with us, and they are accomplishing exactly that.

I turned in my Cruze in Feb and I gotta say it went very smoothly with GM Financial. The inspector came out and got me for a $40 dent on the deck lid. I had 2500 overmileage which i was going to pay and the night before I turned it in I accidentally put a dent into the front bumper. GM didn’t charge me for anything including the miles and the $40 dent initially. I’ll be back to GM again.
