Trying to get this specific car for a great lease price :)

Hey everyone! So excited to be here and learn from everyone. I’ve been reading through the forum and all the blog posts and think I’m getting the hang of at least the basics.

Would love your help in getting a lease from my local dealership here in Ohio for this 2016 328i - http://www.magbmwofdublin.com/new/BMW/2016-BMW-3+Series-07d193d20a0e0ae8495dcebd8339694f.htm

My goal is to lease the vehicle for 10K mi/yr. for 24 months at the lowest monthly rate we can swing

To reduce cost, am open to:

  • Max security deposits
  • Currently own a BMW so qualify for a loyalty discount. Not sure what it is.

And currently have a good credit score around 780.

That’s what I’ve figured out so far but my questions are:

  1. How do you figure out what the MF and residual will be? Do you just ask the dealer? (sorry for the naive question)
  2. Is there a place to see what BMW is offering to reduce cost? (Ex. loyalty discount and how much, etc)
  3. What’s the best way to proceed with the dealer? Email them with my ideal cap cost and deal terms and see what they think? OR should I negotiate as if I’m buying the car outright and then inform them I’m looking to lease? Does it matter?

I’m probably missing more things here but grateful for anyone who might have the time to help out

The MF and residual are set by BMW. Search on this forum and you will get the numbers
Should be 0.0013 and around 60% respectively. Yes try to get the lowest sales price.
1 k loyalty is standard but it does not sound like you are a BMW owner.
