Alright the theme continues; air suspension, rear wheel steer, and bunch of batteries. 2024 i7 xDrive60 loaner with 1200 miles on it. 24/7.5k one pay for just under $10k with my 8.15% tax included, but had to pay another $3k for my expensive CO registration plus getting it delivered from the out of state dealer. So far, I like it more than the EQS though the range is not as good.
Everyone knows what the market for this is, so I’m not going to say much there. It is however, a fantastic driving machine
thank you @BMW_Dave ! (Pics give it away anyway

Not the best deal out there, but it was local and available. I’ve been watching Lightnings since 11/2024 and finally pulled the trigger to get something bigger than my 2021 Tesla Model Y. Want to say thanks for inspiration from @z0lt3c and I would have gone through @LightningAuto if the local dealer wouldn’t have come to a decent deal.
Two low mileage 2024 loaners: $74k i4 m50 and $80K i5 e40. Both just under $400/mo pretax - targeted 399 or less - with slightly different structures. First month on both, only MSDs on the i4 m50, $550 DAS on the i5. Paid $575 shipping for one, they covered the other. Supposed to get $1,500 back directly from BMW in lieu of OLs which covers all of my outflows besides some shipping and MSDs. Corp would not give $2K lol.
Shocked how much I enjoy driving the m50. Even caught some air on the 3 minute drive home after picking up from the transporter. Been whipping it all weekend, the i5 hasn’t left the garage yet.
Both came from a “one price” Nor Cal dealer. Too bad I’m missing a gene allowing to take “no” for an answer (common birth defect on LH).
Traded in the Tesla and picked up a Macan EV at the last second to capture the $7500 rebate. Employee deal so the payment is cheap and insurance is $900/yr less than the Tesla.
