Last car I ever expected to post in the trophy garage but hear me out, it’s almost free after I get my state rebate check.
Caveat, this is not replicable. Don’t go trying to get into a Hornet to flip into a Bz4x, got lucky on a few counts here. Hornet values are close to payoffs and Bz4x XLEs are hard to find.
4/1 last day of month leased a Dodge hornet (43k sticker, $4200 discount, $4500 incentives, $1k TDM, $6250 CCAP incentive)
paid $626 (first pay $214 doc and reg fees). Small local dealer with too many of these on the lot, listed 43k sticker for 39999 and gave me 2% more for affiliate. Was happy to keep this at the payment, the Hornet is an underrated ride and hard to find something better at that price with a gas tank.
When Bz4x mania hit reached out to every local dealer with stock and before they all disappeared, got 4-5k off as an offer from a few. Have a deposit on a May inbound that could be $64 a month after state rebate if those rebates hold.
4/18- Made deal to trade hornet for $33575, $4865 trade equity for a Bz4x XLE AWD with $3781 discount off sticker and all Toyota rebates
4/23 sign for $89.70/m 36/10 lease on Bz4x
4/24 delivery trade keys
Rebate check for $3500 from the state will be more than my cumulative 36 lease payments.
Now there will be some excise tax and if I count the DAS on the Hornet this wasn’t exactly a free car, but not a bad hack into a hack.

Picked this up today. My best lease deal ever. (Only leased 1 other car so yeah its best deal ever for me)
Quad motor R1S w/ large battery. $608.51 a month ($1,000 reservation fee, $4400+ due at signing). 3 years, 12k miles a year.

Yes, I was an 2021 R1S pre-order holder. Back in March they sent an email about great lease deals, I found a 2023 that I liked and went with it. Crazy stuff happened and Rivian gave me a 2024 for lower than the 2023 lease rates (which is what we agreed to). I got pre-order discount $6250, paint discount $1750, interior discount $2000, then a $500 vehicle price adjustment. I mentioned the 2023 lease rates and what the payment was, so they added another $1000 vehicle price adjustment. My situation was unique, but Rivian in the end after a month did the right thing, actually better than the right thing (right thing would have been just meeting me at the 2023 lease rates and not beating it).
Long story here Leased a new Rivian, signed the final contract, and paid the due at signing. Rivian is trying to not honor the deal - #29 by kduff85

Not a G wagon, but needed a 3rd car for the teenager. 2021 Kona Electric Ultimate, under 30k miles. $16,500 out the door including used EV credit. (PA 6% sales tax). $47k window sticker, holy depreciation.
Originally shopped for a Bolt and came across these. Better warranty and much better car in my opinion.
