Definitely. To your point, I got a new Honda Civic 8 years ago and it was the worst car I ever owned. Was at the dealer no less than a dozen times in less than a year. Issues with the infotainment, rear window assembly and air conditioner (multiple times).
Like you said before, cars are luck of the draw. My Defender just randomly bricked itself in my driveway. Key fob wouldn’t work, it wouldn’t turn on, etc. Took my JLR dealer over 3 months and constant communication with the MFG to finally figure it out
I was going to write “still rocking the detail it got before delivery” but this car has probably spent as much time being detailed as it spent in a service bay.

Range Rovers are everywhere in South FL, if they were so bad people wouldn’t be leasing a new one every 2-3 years. I assume it’s more reliable with the BMW engine but most people who complain about these vehicles mostly on YouTube never had one. I know a few people who never got stranded or had any problems.
My local dealer (one of four on Long Island) never has more than a day or two wait time for a loaner car service appointment. Can make one same day if dropping off. If these cars were riddled with chronic issues that the internet echo chamber claims they are, then appt wait time would be weeks, not days in most cases.
