Tire replacement return

i’m not sure if this is the right place to post this but I have a lease return question I have a 2022 I think Pacifica or 2023 lol anyway it is due back in 8 months. The front tires are due for replacement, obviously o don’t want to spend a ton on tires, the back tires are ok but I’m considering changing all 4, does brand matter? I looked at the signed paper it says minimal depth and axles have to match brand, but what if I get a tire that’s not a big name? Of course it will be a proper tire but is that doable? I’ve heard some people tell me it has to be a major brand.

Just go on ebay and get used tires.

As long as the specs match what’s listed, the brand itself doesn’t matter.

Those people are incorrect.

I’ve had good luck here

That’s still a decent amount of driving. YMMV but I’ve never seen a used tire that was a better value than a sale at TireRack or Costco.

Just remember when buying a pair that you rotate and put the new ones on the rear axle. Regardless of drivetrain (FWD/RWD).

I agree. Tire rack or priority tire (look for coupons) and then pick the cheapest installation service in your area. I’d be surprised if it’s more than 150 a tire all in.

I have used United Tires many times with very good luck. If they ship you a tire that you don’t like they will take it back with minimal hassle. They sent me tire with a 2018 date code that looked like the tread blocks were rock hard. They took it back without question. Some of the tires have been professionally patched, but looks like a quality job.
