Yes, but they still go to a “port.”
Doesn’t have to be an actual shipyard, but generally the places where cars are kept tend to be near large rail yards or boat yards. Anything before the dealer taking delivery is “port” or transit.

Have you looked into current XC90 deals? I ended up at $489/m with nothing down except 1st month for a 2020. Was also looking at Atlas SE w/ tech 4 motion R-line but moved on.
My comment on your lease is a lot DAS. with 0 drive off you’re in the 500s
Thanks I just find it odd that at this time of year there’s still 2019s waiting to be delivered.
489 with nothing down is great. I looked at the deals on the market place and most seemed to be in the 500s.
Why are people suggesting the pallisade when its leasing so badly right now?
Where are you located? Look in here: https://forum.leasehackr.com/c/marketplace/northeast lots of XC90s well below where you are right now with the Atlas
leasing badly on what metric? As a % of MSRP?
Judge a deal on what $ amount you’re paying and what you’re getting in return.
Some other brands will show a great “% of MSRP” metric but that’s only because the MSRP was inflated to begin with.
As a lease… $ amount is bad yes.
What is the dollar amount and what are some other cars you could get for the same money?
Why are we talking about an atlas when they lease so bad compared to an xc90?
Considering the OP doesnt want either and asked for advice on the Atlas - its moot.
Appreciate the suggestions but m0nkeynutz is right. Post was really more about the #s for an Atlas.
The Atlas has more space in almost all areas. For those that really need the space, the Atlas may be preferable even if the payments are higher and the vehicle is less luxurious than an XC90.

I think it’s good for leasehackrs to suggest comparable models, but if someone is set on a vehicle, let’s help them do the best that they can on that vehicle.
The whole point is that there are factors in a vehicle purchase that go beyond just $, so ignoring options that may better satisfy those factors at the cost of more money isn’t always the best idea.
what model did you end up with?
Is thigs good? I don’t think but asking the experts here.
Los Angeles. 2019 SEV6 tech 4motion.
$35,030.00 sales price
$675.00 acquistion fee,
$795.00 2 year maintenance,
$526.00 dmv,
$8.75 state tire fee,
$36,600.00 total cap cost,
$493.19 payment with taxes,
$1121.65 due at signing.
55% res factor,
.00151 rate and 36 month lease 15,000.00 miles per year.
Seems high with bad MF.
Thoughts?
The 2 year maintenance should be built into the MSRP and the one that’s usually included is only $240. $795 for the first 2 years of maintenance sounds awfully high.
What’s the MSRP?
I’m looking to close on an R-Line MSRP of $45,434 for $430 per month. Taxes up front. For 39/12
Ok - figured that’s what you meant. Thanks
MikeS0.
Dealer did not provide MSRP. Looks like he took $35,030.00 sales price and added to it. Is the MF too high?
You need to know what the MSRP is so you know how much they’re discounting. That discount is really the important component of how good of a deal you’re getting. As for MF that looks standard. Same MF I got in my zip code. If you haven’t already you should go to the Edmunds forums and confirm MF, RV and any additional incentives. There’s also a few VW programs going on now so you want to make sure you cover those in the deal if they apply. Especially the Partners Program which is $500.
