You may want to post a different link and/or a screenshot that makes your point. Not everyone is an Apple device user, I am but don’t have Apple News installed / those links don’t get me very far.
Smells like a setup for another inflation acceleration bill.
They will stop at nothing to push these things. Next president might run on a free ev for all making under 50k a year platform at the rate we’re going.
I like and promote BEV’s but I’m also of the opinion that our infrastructure is nowhere near ready to accept an adoption rate that’s more aggressive than it currently is.
We don’t need more subsidy on the metal. We need massive infrastructure upkeep and buildout that’s reliable as well as clean which means nuclear. But no one wants it in their backyard.
all I know is I’ve been watching these mb ev deals and hoping bmw has some deals in first half of next year
There’s great deals now.
I’m not seeing anyone post an i5 for example around 500/month like they’re doing for mb.
It’s a brand new model.
How long did MBZ have to sit on EQS sedans (IRL the most comparable model to i5) before they opened the floodgates?
I’m guessing it was about three months before that year’s lease incentives ended ![]()
I think BMW is being keeping the residuals fairly realistic for a change, they’re passing through the credit and an extra $1,500+ a 40bps downward rate adjustment for loyalty on the i5.
The iX however is probably one of the most subsidized cars in the lineup with the i5 second in line relative to MSRP range.
