Excellent - I’m adding FedChoice, AmeriCU, and Interior FCU to the sheet ASAP. Thank you for your contribution!

Can anyone confirm anything about Campbell FCU or AmeriCU, paging @quacky88

AmeriCU won’t mail out loan checks, must be picked up at a branch.

I went with FedChoice. Campbell was my backup @Harry657ha posted link to the membership page. Join ACC branch in NJ. they are 3% for 72 months.

EDIT: Membership :: Campbell Federal Credit Union

Looks like can join ACC at time of credit union application

Agree - they are responsive and able to answer questions on the phone. My application was processed and I was able to confirm information via online questions and didn’t have to call in.

Missed second lease payoff loan from NWFCU and FedChoice seems like good option so far. Just submitted my loan application.

they didn’t ask for any other papers like tax papers or w2’s?

Sorry - membership application was smooth. I’m sure they will come back with last two paystubs. I think that is all I provided to NWFCU when I got a loan with them.

Wonder how long you can lock the rate, don’t see it advertised.

It seems the best way to find out the “today’s rate” is by calling each CU. As of this morning (7/20), Fedchoice’s 60 month rate is 2.49%.

Does anyone have experience with aplfcu? They seem to offer 1.99% both online & phone.

Checked with FedChoice, rate is locked for 60 days with them.

Called it’s 30 days

For Carolina Coop, you have to mail the application to apply loan to them, so act early if you want to use them.

Anyone heard of a bank ally p&c or ally pnc?

Ally is a bank and PNC is also a big bank. Ally was spun off from GM Financial years ago.

The biggest caveat is living/working in one of the counties listed. When I opened my account there several years ago for another loan, they just asked if I was related to anyone who worked for the schools. My mom is a part-time substitute teacher, that was enough for them. They didn’t ask for any proof, but I feel like a lot of people are related to someone that works for the school system in some way.
Their website is myeecu.org
Their rate until August 31st for Tier 1 is 1.99% up to 72 months. It’s the best I can find around here (Central Valley, CA)

Ally and PNC are two separate banks

Just wanted to pass along to those in PA, I just bought the wife a new Mazda CX-5 and financed with Belco Credit Union at 3.24% for 72 months. Best I could find and no hoops to jump through.

how long did approval take? Any requirements for membership or stuff?

Actually a Belco member, there are strict requirements.

You’re eligible to join Belco if you live, work, worship, volunteer or attend school in Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Lancaster, Lebanon, Perry or York counties.

Customer service is good, not outstanding, but I haven’t had a bad experience yet, just have a MM account.
