I did one pay, also…but maybe it was structured differently by the dealership. My payment actually went down from $799 effective on the one-pay to $689 during the extension period.

About once every 3 or 4 months when I’m finished charging, the lighted button inside the charging port door turns red, the plug won’t release, and there’s a charging system malfunction error in the display behind the steering wheel.
So far in every case, the car relents within a few minutes and releases the charging plug.
This has only happened at EA charging stations, but then that’s how I charge 90% of the time.
Is it possible that there are useful failure codes that the dealer could use to troubleshoot, or is this a case where there’s no point in taking it in because the dealer won’t be able to replicate the problem?

Just press and hold the red button it will release it - from what I understand the issue arose when I used a particular EVgo charger so I kinda added it up to faulty charger
Every time that exact charger made that issue - best chargers were 7/11 ones
What did you end up paying if I may ask? What’s the details?
Ask your CPA - but they will likely tell you “no but the lease payment may be an eligible expense”

That’s what I’m doing repeatedly during this time, which wasn’t clear the way I explained it.
@Springside123 Hey I just got off the phone with AFS and they wont budge from the $3,000 per month figure they are quoting me. It was probably becaue your deal is structured differently. Can you share what dollar amount you have on the first page of your contract, itemized line 3 (it should say something like total amount of payments)?
