First, thank you!!! Never leased a car before, always owned outright, and this site was responsible for most of what I learned in prep for an auto lease - excellent information, so thanks to all who post their wisdom, most appreciated.
I read this site for several months first, covertly, then joined recently. Pulled off a decent Leasehackr score - a little over 11. More than $10k off sticker, nothing down, baseline MF. Am able to write off most of the payment (car used mostly for work) through my business. The idea of locking in a RV with potential for used car values to fall over the next few years was nice. Also, if you are in a market with a single dealer of the brand of your choice, look to other markets! Leasing across state lines was SIMPLE, at least in my case, and the competition among same-city dealers saved me an arseload of $.
