Pains me to see E-Tron in the list of least reliable cars…

To be fair, consumer satisfaction scores are very high. The article from SFGate states that people seem to value the tech and innovation from Tesla more than things like poor paint and panel QC.
I do not own a Tesla and am not a Tesla fan boy, however, the article seems a little bit misleading.
How so? Something can have high initial customer satisfaction and be an unreliable POS at the same time.
Sending this to all my friends with Tesla’s as a “told you so”…

If that’s the case I wonder about how CR evaluates reliability. I would prefer to place more weight on major mechanical or electrical issues.
Personally, I have 10k miles on my 2019 e-tron and the only issue has been an occasionally malfunctioning rear license plate bulb.
The license plate bulb is a good malfunction

Got about $1,500 in tickets outstanding
You can get ticketed for malfunctioning bulbs.
