why are they flooding the northeast with RWD models, knowing full well that there’s no demand for them in a cold weather area?

Planned obsolescence.

Thought the same thing.

I almost want to say that they built these cars for the Canadian market and because they did not get approvals for LFP batteries yet, they are offloading them in the US.

We had a few Canadian LFP drops and one of our Discord members ended up getting it. However, they took the VIN away since the listings were made in error as they don’t have approvals yet.

Down to 64 units available so almost half of the inventory was depleted in 24 hours.

How’s Tesla keeping up with all this increase of sold cars on the road in terms of after sales and service? It’s insane…

They don’t. It’s not uncommon in my area to have 3-5 week wait time for an appointment.

To be clear, my Subaru dealer booked 3 weeks out…

They’re not.

I used the mobile service once to have Homelink installed in my Model 3. I was able to book an appointment less then 1 week out. Tech showed up on time and addressed a few either minor items. It was a better experience then I’ve had with most other major brands.

I remember seeing on discord server FAQ, that lease can be sold to dealer. Is this changed now, as others automakers doing?

Interesting update! It has been historically possible to sell a Model 3/Y lease to a 3rd party.

See: Ending Your Lease Early | Tesla

However this page does say your “account screen” overrides any guidance in the default page.

What does it say when you hit learn more lol

It goes to that standard page, where it says that dealers can buy out

Hmm, interesting. We’ll need to have someone call in and figure out what the deal is.

This flip stuff with all this price fluctuations is so unclear. I mean actually for me it looks clear, that seems is not worth it, even in NJ without taxes. SR3+ with destination fee and registration will come up around 48300. There is bunch of them on Carvana for ~50k and obviously they will offer less. Enlighten me please, why there is thoughts that is is still worth it? I understand there is no only Carvana, but I doubt somebody will give more then 50.
