What are they going on about the wiper fluid at 5:19?
Wiper Fluid is at the front not the back. Maybe in Europe they have a different location for the wiper fluid.

Ah Kyle, I need to find those videos from 22 where he suggested to people waiting for Rivians to just buy Tesla in the meantime because they can always sell it for same or even more, completely safe purchase while waiting.

Your Carvana Offer

$41,500

Expires Friday, November 17

2022 Tesla Model Y 12000 miles
Long Range Sport Utility 4D

Two weeks ago, offer was $39,900 and before that was $32K :joy: price is getting better, for now :+1:

EDIT: Tried VROOM and got a message that they don’t buy Tesla Model Y at this time… and the Carvana quote was for a 7 Seater and Tow package FYI-probably doesn’t make a big difference or they don’t care about options etc

So ā€œTesla doesn’t need to advertiseā€ is now officially over?

That’s a new one

I don’t think that’s an ad. Doesn’t say ad or sponsored anywhere.

They brought their cars off their website and onto another website (which they have never done before) that links back to theirs and they pay a fee for either being listed or clicks / impressions not sure where cars.com makes their money. Sponsored only gets you higher in listings, two separate layers of advertisement.

It looks like the 6 mo free supercharging offer is replacing the $250 discount most recently offered by the referral program. No point in pushing referrals anymore!

w/r/t cars.com – You don’t need any special rights to scrape the Tesla API and create these kind of listings. It’s the same thing we are doing at waitingfortesla.

I’m interested in knowing if it stacks. :joy:

6 referrals good for a 36 month lease of free supercharging

yeah, I don’t think it’s the same thing. waitingfortesla shows zero availability right now. cars.com has a lot of cars and each one has an affiliate link. Whether cars.com is doing something themselves, or Tesla is doing it, the end result someone is paying for it, cars.com is not a Tesla fan club to do things for free.

Could always go to the source and ask directly?

You mean ask Tesla to get a poop emoji back?

actually don’t even think need to do that:

The 6mo supercharging offer is for the buyer, not the referrer and it’s instead of the $250 cash discount. The referrer has always been able to redeem referral points for supercharger miles. The problem is they expire, so you can only buy them in small increments.

Depending on use case the 6 months free charging is def more attractive over a $250 discount, which would buy you between 400-1,000kWh on SC network over time.

The things is- If free supercharging is high on your list of requirements, why are you buying a Tesla? Every other brand has better charging offers then Tesla. You are much better off taking the $250, using that $250 to buy a bunch of referrals and then incrementally redeem s/c miles, or A/B, or whatever else you want. Cash has options…

Because our FUSC will transfer with our new MX. :zap:
