Tesla Cybertruck... Reservation & Ordering Discussion

Any way to transfer a reservation?

Sure, you decline to use yours and the next people down do too until Tesla realizes they have built tremendous capacity to produce a terrible vehicle with little demand instead of keeping their core products competitive

Maybe pick one of these up

Got an email a few days ago about placing an order. I am probably not going to go through with it.

Canceled mine. Got mine $100 refunded. Would buy 1 but once all the issues are sorted and maybe once we see some of them in Tesla used inventory.

Are these available for lease once they invite you to build?

Cash or finance only.

Here’s a guy with 140k using the cybertruck like it’s a Silverado

Well…that would happen in the Silverado too if you didn’t tie it down, right? Those look longer than a standard bed.

Lol that isn’t the issue. 140k 1st Gen EV Truck to haul rebar? Dang

That looks like composite decking, not rebar.

Rebar is for men with real trucks lol. Can you tell hes already scratching his head :rofl:

For anyone here who has a CT, how is it? I see more of those on the road than Lightnings but I guess the CT is more noticeable.

Now offered with leasing programs.

Somebody put way too much effort into building this misleading tool.

how crazy is the car insurance on these things

Interesting, anybody know whats the insurance range on this? Once again its a scrap metal on wheels (mongo)

Geico quoted me $3k for a 6mo. policy in the heart of NYC.

This lease offer is def not pretty among other EV pickup trucks if we were to go by LH standards. Let’s wait and see if any of these leases end up in our private transfer thread.

Tesla really wants to move these Cybertrucks.

Just the Foundations ones… they are even paying to take of the badging to they can sell them for less:

So are the Foundation ones mechanically no different from a regular CT? Or are there some type of software limited features on the regular ones?
