Tesla bankruptcy?

Yeah, confused the book “Capital” with its socialist author.

Elon Musk also claimed to be a socialist…fucking lol

At this point, I don’t even think he really read Marx’s any book. Just too far off the reality

How many base models?

Zero. I think Tesla won’t even consider making one until all incentives are exhausted. My sister in law’s boyfriend just took delivery on a $62k version. The above was told to him by the personnel at the delivery center.

What the hell is going on in the paint shop that fires keeps occurring??

He’s blaming a saboteur from ‘big oil’, ‘tesla short sellers’, or ‘big oil car’.

He thinks he’s in the White House.

He was taught a lot in his short stay there or abouts. That BS resonates.

Elon says tents are the future of automotive factories. Umm…wut? How about the tents being signs of extreme desperation of a company trying to meet outlandish production goals and keep its stock from tanking?

I don’t recall NUMMI using tents

Toyota and GM pumped out 450,000 cars a year there.

Of general interest…This link suggests that Tesla will only be able to produce ~1836 Model 3 units per week for 2018 second quarter- well below Musk’s promises.

Wonder what the excuse will be at the end of Q2 when they miss the target again…

Sabotage hell
Fake news hell
My back hurts from sleeping on the floor hell

Not to worry, they’ll surely hit it in Q3

Can you say circus…

Tesla is somewhat of a test-mule brand for Mercedes-Benz. That’s one of the reasons all of their vehicles are built with parts from the MBZ parts bin. It’s also why MBZ hybrids and EVs use Tesla batteries. Tesla’s AutoPilot is actually a Mercedes distronic/parktronic unit with their own software/firmware. Mecedes licences their driver assistance technology to a lot of other car manufacturers including BMW, Cadillac, and Audi.

To save headlines Tesla will be acquired by MBZ before they officially fold. MBZ will continue to support and service Teslas at their existing dealerships. Please remember Elon Musk is a savvy entrepreneur. This marks year 10 for Tesla since the Roadster was released. Being acquired by MBZ is the easiest exit strategy and has been in the works. Tesla just needed to prove their concept, which they successfully did with the Model S. Now, there’s a buyer in place for Musk’s company and his focus will move to SpaceX/Solar City.

This all sounds quite logical, however this is the first I’ve heard of this. Is this insider info?

It’s not outsider info  .

MBZ is pretty much the bigger cousin/silent partner. EV technology is huge. As always, MBZ found a way to get ahead of everyone else by incubating Tesla and Evonik. Non-compete is the theme here. This is why there’s no full electric MBZ’s except the B-Class which is a hard sale off the lot. MBZ currently uses Tesla’s batteries in the C-Class Hybrid (Model 3), GLE Hybrid (Model X), and S-Class Hybrid (Model S). If they released full electric versions of these models, half of all Tesla owners would trade-in their cars immediately. MBZ is planning on releasing full electric versions after the Tesla acquisition. The lineup is supposed to be called EQ. It’s replacing the SMART Car lineup which is discontinued.

What’s the timeframe for MB to snag Tesla?
