First thing first… do you qualify for affiliate, have a current stellantis lease or one that expired in the past 365 days, and have a current tdm code?

4Runner SR5s are going for $520 in California, so I would think he would have one if it got Tax credits or his dealer is willing to mark it $5000 off
$5,000 off 
$500/m for that is such a terrible value. In two leases you’d pay $36,000+
Just finance an HRV or similar.
