How do lease pull ahead programs work on an ordered car? Does one place an order, get a production number and turn the current lease in 3+ months early? What happens if you decide to not take delivery?
P.S. I realize BMW isn’t offering one at this very moment.
I’m not following how/why a pull ahead program would let you turn in your current lease 3+ months early when a car you’ve ordered is supposedly only entering production…?
In any event a true pull ahead program shouldn’t differentiate between a car you’ve ordered vs. buying one off the lot. The current lease will be grounded when you take delivery of the new car (not when you order it or when it enters production).
