Ford was offering a much larger discount on the 2024 Mach-E with many dealers offering huge discounts to move them. Unfortunately, there’s a recall that prevents them from being sold. So if you’re looking at a Mach-E, avoid all 2024 listings because there’s an open safety recall that prevents the vehicles from being sold.
Do you know if you can put a deposit down on them even if they’re under drop sale? I ask because you can still take advantage of the tax credit if you put “a meaningful amount down” and have a binding contract before 9/30, even if you don’t take delivery before then.
No one here was, because the lease deals were inferior.
And no reason to buy one while the EV lease bonanza lasts
@bulletbait will this stop-sale pause transfers? Might want to call Ford and check it out. Some manufacturers put transfers on hold until the cause is resolved.

FWIW phone reps did not know the answer to this. I’ll follow up if I hear any clarity as I’m attempting to transfer for anyone who comes along in the future.
