Over the last couple of months I’ve done a ton of research and shopping here on lease hackr. I finally pulled the trigger yesterday on a 59k Lexus GX460 for a total payment of 566.00 per month (including tax and wear and tear guarantee) 36/10. I could have lowered my payment about 50 per month with about 4k in MSDs but decided not to.
My dealer was Simon Segua of Glendale Lexus - 747-231-6244. Simon was a true gentleman and a credit to car dealers as I’ve met so many horrible ones along the way (Tustin Lexus comes to mind as a horrible place to try and get a Lexus the worst of the worst). I believe Simon’s first offer was within 10 dollars a month where we finally settled. Being a lease hackr helped as he followed my journey a bit on the boards and knew where he had to be to earn the business.
I also wanted to thank Jgarza15 for the referral and everyone here for chipping and helping in their own way. Last, I was pretty darn close to getting a Tahoe and ChevySalesGirl (Trish) was very helpful, honest and a credit to her profession and this site as well. Please don’t hesitate to use the active dealers on this site.
If I saw your post earlier I would not even check with Tustin Lexus, they’re horrible!! As soon as you walk in the door they start giving pressure on you.
Here comes the story, I walked in the store asking are there any special currently? The salesman replied, yes, if I can get you a deal will you buy it now? lol… Then I asked how good is the deal? He replied I have to check with my manager, but if I can get you a good discount will you buy it today? I was a little pissed at the time. I told him stop playing the pressure tactics on me and go get a number, he again if I get 10% off this 17 model will you buy it now… OMFG HE THINKS 10% OFF IN DECEMBER FOR A 17 MODEL IS A GOOD DEAL!! I told him of course no, at least I will be looking at 15-20%, this salesmen said “Well, just shop around, and he walked away, WALKED AWAY…”
