put down a deposit for the Taycan they require $2500, I did it back in July be nice to have a electic car that actually has customer service unlike my Tesla

I would love to but $600ish/month is already upper limit of my budget. I would think Taycan will cost a lot more than that. Hopefully in the future.

Iā€™m recreationally interested in this atm. VA tax sucks as Iā€™m sure youā€™re aware. Without intruding upon details you wouldnā€™t want to reveal, is it safe to assume ALL sales tax is rolled in? Also, I am assuming you arenā€™t working the lease off of msrp, right? ( For sake of how pptax is going to be levied). Sorry if it sounds nooby, but Iā€™m relatively new to leasing and have only leased once.

It was actually a really good question.

The problem with these (now older) base macans is they are 4 cylinder turbos, and if Iā€™m not mistaken, built of the same platform as the previous generation Audi Q5 (Macan was updated for ā€˜19). This is essentially a slightly sportier 2016 q5. As the OP said, the main appeal is entry into the Porsche family.

To be clear, Iā€™m not bashing the deal or the OP at all, and I apologize if I hijacked this thread. Porsches donā€™t lease well at all, and this is one of the best ones that weā€™ve seen. OP has provided many great luxury deals on this form, and this car will certainly move. My point is that the value proposition on this car is low, which is further exacerbated by a poor lease program (as good of a deal as it is, the effective payment is well over 1%). Spending $300 more on a v6 could merit consideration, especially if one is looking for a true Porsche experience.

Iā€™ve driven a Q5 and also a base Macan and I believe there is a significant difference. Not everyone will agree and thatā€™s ok.

Also, we all know Q5s lease poorly. This deal isnā€™t too far off from one!

Good point, the deal is comparable to a q5 and for someone in the market for a q5, is no brainer in my opinion. As for V6 vs 4 banger debate, you donā€™t usually pay %50 more to upgrade the engine in other brands hence this deal is unusual. From Porscheā€™s perspective, base engine clearly does not attract their target customers which makes it a great value for a different segment of customers.
