OP - you were initially told to get quotes from Vroom/Carvana etc. Now that you have the actual payoff amount, how does it compare to what you were offered? Might be easier to go that route.
Had a friend buy a supra from carvana 2 weeks ago. They are now offering to buy it for 2k higher than what they sold it to him for. Might be worth looking into.
