Small SUV Refresh/Redesign years

Hi Everyone,

My wife is in the market for a luxury small SUV and I am trying to do some research before we go test-driving too many cars. Was wondering whether anyone had comments on mid-cycle refresh and redesigns of the following models. Don’t want to commit to a vehicle about to have a complete revamp. Please correct me if I’m wrong or missed anything.

  1. BMW X3 - Refresh in 2022, looks like redesign is in 2025
  2. MB GLC 300 - Redesign in 2023, currently I only see the 4MATIC coupe as an option (Atlanta, GA) - should I expect the other trims to be available later 2023?
  3. Volvo XC60 - Refresh in 2022, new trims in 2023 with little change, possibly going all-electric in 2024 with the EX60 (can’t tell if the XC60 will be discontinued at that point?)
  4. Lexus NX350h - Refresh in 2022?
  5. Audi Q5 - Refresh in 2021? Redesign for 2025? Not sure about this one.
  6. Infiniti QX50 - Seems like I should just not look into this car at all.

The Lexus NX350h was redesigned for 2022. I bought one, and it is a great car.

Yea, the redesigned 2023 GLC’s are not at dealers yet.

The 2023 GLC Coupes that are available now are the old version, not the redesign. I’m guessing the redesigned Coupe will be released as a 2024 model.

Yeah, thats what it seems like. We don’t want the coupe. Probably looking for the regular GLC 300 4MATIC.
