I tried to play ball with a few dealers here in PA and in the area about demo 2025 EX90’s. They acted like 20% pre incentives on a 2025 unit was so outrageous. One car was on the lot since fall 2025!

Thanks, so many dealers seating on very old inventory will offer 6-7% off and won’t budge, i really don’t get it.
I just received an email from the dealer saying that the 2025 EX90s are no longer available for lease. Now they are ready to offer a steeper discount (more than 20%).
Because no one is buying/financing a new 90k EX90 - they have to discount them 20% and maybe more with lease support gone
Dealers in PNW are acting like 5% off pre-incentives is a god-send gift. Let them sit on them and have their lease support disappear, so that they can eat $20k+ loss on each one of them.
I reached out to so many dealers in the last few weeks, and they were stubborn at 5-6%
Many loaners with serious miles on them, and the dealers were not willing to give more than 10-12%
I don’t feel bad for them.

I made an offer to a local FL dealer at 19% off and they laughed at me, but the car is now advertised on the website at 27% off

I offered 20% off on this one and got laughed at on the phone. Now they are trying to move it for 23% off MSRP.

Your signed entry says this was in Texas but the way the sales tax is calculated in your contract tells me its not - can you confirm where you were able to get this? I am in Texas and none of the dealers are anywhere close to these numbers, even for a 2025.
The dealer is in Texas but with Florida sales tax.
The deal is not replicable as the original offer was for a 2025 that died during final preparation and the dealer maintain the discount for a 2026.

How are you getting 20% off MSRP? I’ve talked to four Volvo dealers around the LA area, and the best offers I’ve seen are only around 3–4% off MSRP.
Interested - how is the dealer in TX with FL sales tax? Are you a FL resident?
Local FL dealers were not willing to do more than 7% off
Some brokers offer 11%

Was the 2025 also a lease? Was it financed by Volvo? Hearing they are cashed out on the 25s.
The 2025 was also a lease ($599) and it was signed in the last hours of june.
