SIGNED:[NJ] 2023 Ioniq 6 SEL AWD, $52850 MSRP, 24/12K , 0 Down, $397/month

I was thinking about this and finally pulled the trigger on saturday. Did a 24 month lease, got an excellent deal(In my Opinion) with 7500$ EV Rebate, $2500 Loyalty, ~$4500 dealer credit. Basically 0 down, 397 for a month for 24 months. Originally my idea was to do a purchase as soon as the lease payoff amount shows on the HMF site. But the MF is low enough(.000142) for me to wait 2 years and then decide. After all, having an Option has some value of its own.

The two not so positive things-Dealer didnt offer a single Pay. More importantly,I am selling my 2022 Palisade Calligraphy. Seems like a downgrade, but it felt painful to commute alone 50 miles a day.

One pay should be thorough HMF and not dealer specific since they are the bank you are using and not the dealership that is leasing it to you. Also for the $4500 discount did you get it thorough a broker or on your own? What was your MSRP?

Did you use a broker or self-negotiate? Which dealership in NJ?

I know and pushed them hard, but they didnt agree.

I went directly, not through a broker. The MSRP was 52850

Was the $4500 discount tlsomething they advertised already on their site or was that a figure you proposed to them? Did they accept your initial offer or did you haggle back and forth to get that discount.

Got a little more detail on this? I will be going this monday. Same advertisement on their website. Is loyalty discount if i had a hyundai before?

Yes, Loyalty discount is if you have a Hyundai registered in the same household as i Understand, so there should be a registration card with the same address as your current address(AFAIK, it need not be in your name)

I initially searched through true car, where the dealer had specified 3600 off. When i went in, in the initial offer it was not included. When i showed the true car deal, he said be can honour it. I then countered that i would close on the spot if i was offered 4500, and then we agreed after about a week yesterday. I was also contemplating Limited( they were willing to give the same offer for both), but in the end, felt that i only needed a small subset of the limited features and SEL was a better value for money
