Signed: Missouri. 3/36k. New 2026 Honda Prologue EX AWD. $43,495 MSRP, 13.5% off, $286.87 per month, $286.87 DAS

Just closed this deal Saturday (August 29th). I Used the Leasehackr calculator to send an offer to multiple dealerships for the same vehicle, and one of them accepted the offer while 4 others rejected it (2 with counter offers and 2 with just straight rejections).

The deal includes ~13.5% off MSRP, mandatory $141 government fees, $599 doc fee (which technically slightly reduces the actual discount I got here since the doc fee probably should just be considered part of MSRP for math purposes), $595 acquisition fee, base money factor (.00074). 48% residual at the end.

Rebates includes the current Honda prologue lease cash of $7250 (not advertised but showed up on Leasehackr calculator), $2000 conquest rebate, and $500 military rebate.

As for the vehicle - so far so good. Rides nicely, powerful enough. Coming from an EV9, so maybe not quite as nice, and the EV9 had more amenities. Taking off the stock OEM tires and storing them in the basement, replacing with a set of Bridgestone Ultra Weathers at Costco. Learned my lesson with the EV9 lease and now buying a new set of tires for the next owner…

Tell me more about this… What is the lesson here?

Don’t have to buy new one, used will work, just make sure they above min. trash hold, last time I checked ebay had plenty Bridgestone tires. Can save you 1-1.5k

I drove the EV9 on OEM tires for 2 years and 24k miles, and right as about to do lease turn in, the tires are at ~3/32nds, which is below the lease contracts replacement requirements. I didn’t realize the EV would eat tires as quick although from looking around online it appears it should have been obvious. I also did not care for the OEM tires (Bridgestone Turanza EL440s).

So bottom line, I feel like I am buying a new set of tires for the next owner. I ultimately went with some Toyo Proxess ST 3s which were around $800 or so.
