LUCID is able to negotiate heavily (~17%) off MSRP for higher optioned (DreamDrive Pro, Leather, etc) trims with option credits and public incentives. Must take delivery by 12/31 on in stock vehicles.
Technically it was a $2,000 loyalty credit, $3,000 onsite credit, and $1,000 demo drive credit, and then some option credits that they do not publicize to get to the Agreed Purchase Price. The $7,500 is the only incentive that shows up on the paperwork.
This seems like a great deal. When I have priced the Gravity on the Lucid site with their calculator, the monthly payment is much higher. Congrats!
I’m thinking of the Gravity when my current BMW lease expires in 2026 although a bit worried about all the reported software bugs and Lucid’s long term viability.
The online calculator doesn’t take into account the unadvertised incentives (effectively credits for two options regardless of price), and I’m not sure why Damonl’s SA didn’t offer them - maybe they are regional (I’m in California) or maybe they affect commission?
There’s a thread the Lucid sub called “Insane Deals Right now” where OP reported the same, but also was able to add a corporate discount for being a Uber driver.
Difference being that deal was for a MSRP $81,550 touring Version and not a loaded Grand Touring for a modest amount more. Also unlikely the $798 included monthly tax?
The purpose of sharing the article is not to compare your deal, it’s to answer all questions related to how the incentives work and how to find qualifying units etc
That article does do a great job of that, and was one of the reasons I started looking. It just didn’t mention the additional $7,500 federal tax - that they bought out before the federal deadline - rebate LUCID had on the Grand Touring models over the regular Touring one in that article, and it didn’t have information on the ability to get credits for two expensive options.
I’ve lurked here a long time, and hope this deal along with stating the MF/RV used for the 36/10 was helpful to someone, as I really saw this as “for $20 more” you can get a fully loaded 450 mile SUV over a non optioned 300 mile one, and hope someone found a great vehicle and that LUCID has worked out there software issues enough to not be bothersome. Now, I need a great deal on an insurance company
Congrats! Today is the day if you want to hack a Gravity lease by stacking incentives and finding inventory eligible for option credits (e.g., DreamDrive Pro) before EOY.
My SA did not tell me about the option credits at all and kept presenting 6k down and $800 lease option on a $100k gravity grand touring. I am glad i did not make the purchase / avoided buyers remorse. Happy for you OP, thats a great deal - it cant get any better. Mind connecting me to your SA?
