SIGNED: Hummer EV 3X 2025 36/12 Effective: ~$735 tax-in with 0 DAS

,

Mass is the only state without a temp tag. Def a weird state and would be such a simple fix.

How should it be structured for it to make sense then? Take out the negative for the trade, what else would need to be adjusted? Should I put the adjusted MSRP in as the MSRP? If I do, it throws the numbers off. At the end of the day, it’s a 36/12 lease on a 2025 3X with the credit. With the trade, rebate, and dealer discount it came out to what is shown on the calculator.

For those thinking of getting one, hopefully you have a program similar to the FPL EVolution Home program that Florida has. $31/m for unlimited charging on nights, weekends, and holidays; if you already have an outlet. If no outlet, it’s $38/m as they’ll price in contractor and permitting costs. The major downside is the term length and early termination fee. However, with the amount you would’ve spent on charging without the program, it’ll absorb that $800 cancellation cost in 10-12 months.

It’s been just over 11 days and 600 miles since I’ve had it. Thus far I’ve spent ~$110 on public DC fast chargers. Point is, this thing seemingly consumes as much KWh as the MPG on the predecessors.

Maybe I missed it but did you provide the details of the negative equity? Year/make/model/miles and trade value? Did you compare the trade value to MMR?

No way to know how it should be structured unless you look at the lease contract to know how the dealership actually structured it. If the lower MSRP is accurate, then you need more than 10% to arrive at your numbers.

Happy to help if you want to PM me your redacted lease contract

Why not just posted the redacted lease for everyone to see?

It’s reflected in the calculator as negative for trade-in. I’m not sure if year, make, model is relevant. It’s a done deal.

Once I receive the finalized copy, that’s the plan.

Yes, I think that unless you have cheap power at home and can charge it there this is still going to have significant running cost.

While shopping for a deal I was offered an omega edition for $1288/mo sign and drive this included my 7% tax in Florida so adjust accordingly. Must have supplier and Costco.

Pm me if anyone is interested in that. Seemed like a pretty strong deal from what im seeing out there

Yes you would use your adjusted msrp as the true price. That is what the car is residualized off of, not the $104k. The calc is helpful to show what your actual discount from the dealer was and the total rebates. If it doesn’t add up based on all of the details, there may be a slight MF mark up in play that you wouldn’t know unless they disclosed it etc.

In any case, I think this has been a very informative breakdown, thanks for the continued conversation. I am flirting with one of these and my wife appears to be on the verge of divorcing me :joy:

It’s relevant if the dealer paid you $40k for a trade that was worth $50k (not saying this is the case). Then they had an extra $10k to play around with on the sales price.

For people that are trying to determine whether this deal can be replicated, all facts matter. Do you mind sharing the trade vehicle and the agreed upon value?

While I haven’t been able to get a deal that I want. All of the sales associates have been pleasant. I make sure to thank them for their time and acknowledge that my request is challenging. I then tell them to keep me in mind if things change. Hopefully this helps keep the wheels greased for the next person like us that comes along asking for a :unicorn:

Never mind lol

At least you’ll have a vehicle you can sleep in!

Well, if it helps. Trade vehicle was a 2021 Bronco Wildtrak with an MMR and dealer offer of $45k. I owed $50k, hence the $5k neg.

FWIW- Saw this pop up on the “GMC Hummer EV Buy & Sell” FB group.
