Edit 2: Its end of day on 9/30 and Lucid could not deliver me the booked vehicle. Neither SA nor escalation manager seemed to care about honoring the September incentives and making things right.
Edit 1: Vehicle not available for delivery tomorrow. Lucid doing what they are famous for. Will come back with another update as things progress until 9/30.
I’ve been shopping for a 3 row suv for quite some time. September came along and I knew the incentives were going to be good since there was still a decent amount of 2026 inventory for Gravity Touring’s. Unfortunately, I did not pull the trigger at the start of the month when there was a good chunk of inventory and options to choose from.
After tracking inventory last week, I had no hopes of getting one this month. Luckily on Friday, I checked again and there was a loaded MY26 Touring available at $108,400. I called my rep who had been waiting since the end of June demo drive. He got to work and immediately came back with another model which had all the options I wanted plus more such as towing, tech package. This unit was the last nearly fully loaded (only missing ss pro) one that magically appeared overnight (assuming incoming inventoy or someone did not go through with their deal). Also, this one is in supernova bronze which is not my preferred first choice color but I dont hate it either.
Applied about $22,500 in incentives and booked it over the phone. In total, took 10 minutes to get this done. Considering all the horror stories of service with Lucid, it was a good starting experince with this studio.

Picking up this week and looking forward to going the EV route. I’m finally going to stop research and go enjoy a spacious and zippy car.
Dang that sucks - I see there are only 1 2026 touring left in the east coast, perhaps you can go with those? Seems like the 2026s still carry over the same incentives from September. Doesn’t have dynamic handling package though
I was on a similar path in September, but the application didn’t go through. I wanted to try again and see if there is anything they can do about giving me SS credits, the sales advisor just ghosted me. So I think you’re already better off…
Also I feel they’ve are giving out studio select to a lot more models in the west coast compared to east when I checked their inventory… perhaps the market is more competitive out there.
Stayed at the hotel across from the Lucid dealership in the Meatpacking district this weekend and saw what looked like a bunch of demo drives. Couldn’t get my wife to let me go on one, even though she thought it was good looking for a minivan (her words)!
Oh sorry to hear that. Lucid hired a new customer experience head. A couple of quick google searches will get you his contact info. I would try emailing him and asking nicely if they can do something for you.
My sales advisor is nice and even helped narrow down inventory on the phone with me. In the end, sales advisor couldnt move the needle on incentives so I asked to speak with a manager. They let 9/30 go by since there was no equivalent MY26 available that could be delivered to me. On 10/1, I pushed to get a resolution and was provided an initial number I did not like. After some negotiation, the numbers seemed ok to me.
I couldnt get the full 22.5K stack of incentives but I’m getting a fully loaded MY27 with every option Lucid has for the Gravity. I’m still waiting for the car to be delivered to the studio and then a couple more days for inspection etc.
