Bought a 2026 White Cadillac Vistiq Premium Luxury in white. Was an executive use car with <200 miles on it. MSRP was $95,215. Cap cost was $79,220 (included shipping from Florida to California). DAS included $1446 in Registration, first month payment and $995 in Prep Fees (my actual rebates were $2000 but they offset the $995 with a total in $3000 in rebates). Pretty happy with my deal. Was a “friends and family” arrangement so probably not replicable. Final monthly payment for 24/12 was $850.98. Works out to 10 year leasehackr score.
Good deal! I am looking for same car!
Not certain what is or isn’t replicable but for another data point I did an 18k one-pay on a 24 month lease for a Vistiq Premium Luxury last month from a dealer in SoCal. Had 4k in incentives though. IMO on a demo this deal should definitely be replicable or close to it.
I had never worked with this dealer, and they offered me a sick Green on Brown Platinum for what would’ve been a 21k one-pay, but I didn’t really value what a Platinum had to pay 3k more for it at the time
Although having driven both the level 1, 2 and 3, imo I would rather drive a level 1 for 13-14k one pay then a premium for 18-19k, the air suspension isn’t anywhere near as nice I was hoping for and night vision is kind of a gimmick.
How much was shipping from Florida though? I tried with a bunch of dealers in Flordia that had a ton of them last month and they all said they don’t do out of state, deal is sick considering shipping was steep I’m assuming.
Hi! Yea shipping was $2200. I have a question for you. How did you get comfortable with the one pay? The dealership highly recommended against it and I confirmed it with Cadillac Finance. If you do one pay and the next day you total the car your insurance plus GAP insurance pays Cadillac for the car but you do not get the entirety of your one pay amount back? Basically you’d be out the $18k. I could never get comfortable with that.
Did you buy that Celestial one at Simpson Cadillac? I was working on a deal with them as well and we got close to the same discount but they were marking up the MF hugely.
This will vary from bank to bank, but one-pays are only a one-pay upfront. On the back end, there is a draw down against the amount paid upfront, so in the event of the vehicle being totaled there could be a prorated amount available to you.
GMF leases definitely pro-rate back to you if it gets totaled; they pretty clearly spell this out in their standard lease document. If you can afford a one-pay there’s no reason not to. You can save a ton on rent charge, potentially thousands. I’m not sure why a dealer would discourage you unless they aren’t using GMF and maybe get a better markup on MF? Shouldn’t matter to them if it’s GMF.
I helped family members with Cadillac optiq leases last year. I confirmed with two separate finance reps at the captive bank that Yes, they do indeed provide a pro-rated refund of a one pay in the event of a total loss.
Funny it wasn’t this dealer, but I did get a Celestial Vistiq so you guessed that part right. Mine was from Cadillac Calabassas.
Well I am frustrated now. I would have done one pay on this deal but TWO reps at Cadillac Financial told me they DO NOT refund the pro-rata share. Dealer told me the same…
Sheesh I could have saved more money. Still I am overall happy with my deal. I think the deal is pretty solid and more importantly I really like the car…
Haha was this Williamson or Bomnin Cadillac in Miami, by any chance? I had inquired about a white loaner they had but never got much of a response.
Just did the reverse, shipped a car from SoCal to FL.
Yea was Williamson. Wasn’t a loaner though. Only has 150 miles on it. It was a PGA Player car during the tournament recently…
What did you end up getting from SoCal? What car / what dealer? Wonder if it’s a car I looked at (I looked at a lot before I found out my buddies cousin worked at Cadillac).
Ha that’s crazy, I live close to Williamson. Couldn’t even get a quote from them on their Vistiqs, like wtf.
I got a BMW ix from BMW of Carlsbad. Had to go across the country to get one with the stupid dynamic handling package and a bunch of other packages, even though a FL dealer had an IX that was perfect (couldn’t get them to give me a decent deal). If I couldn’t get an iX with the bells and whistles, I was going to try for Vistiq
Funny…you traveled here for an IX and I traveled to you to replace my IX!!! HAHAHA
Nice deal! I’ll be in the market for one in 2-3 months, hopefully there will still be some good deals by then
Should be. I would think with the 2027 coming out they will want to push the 2026’s out. Although the 27 has some nice added features I do prefer the blue interior of the 26. Little more interesting!
I actually prefer the 26 too! A big feature that the 26 have that they removed from the 27 is the soft close doors. They removed it completely even on the highest trims
I am hoping to find a great one pay deal on a 26! My search has been on for a few weeks and getting close.
Nice! What numbers are you shooting for? Are you emailing your local dealers or expanding your search nationwide?
15-17K range all in! Yes nation wide at this point!
