Signed this deal today. Note that this vehicle Window Sticker is $58,229. Dealer informed me that last month, GM has adjusted down some of the Optiq, in my case it was -$905 lower. I didn’t go for a single pay lease, because of the limitation to extend it to the end which I believe is mostly good flexibility if you wanted to get on the next lease - more time to work. (This car/lease replaces my outgoing Kia Niro EV single pay lease) I should also mention that the $1k DAS is required to trigger a $500 GM Card rebate. A $75 doc fee? That’s cheap. The average here in NC is nearly $800. Do you mind me asking what rebates went into the $5000? I imagine that since you are in MI, you probably know lots of GM employees. Did you get a courtesy vehicle rebate? Enjoy. I’m currently shopping for one for my wife. ---

Yes, actually both your questions are related. Factory rebates: $1.5k lease cash for Optiq (this is based on your zip code) $2k Cadillac Conquest (check what models you have in your household, they’re quite a lot that qualifies) $500 GM Card (why i had the DAS set as $1k) $1k (GM EV Supplier Code) Now the last discount, triggers a $75 cap for dealer doc fee. But not every dealer from every state accept this. NC does not seem to have a state mandated min or max doc fee. So that means it should quote you $75 when you go with the GM supplier code (or employees’ code). But I won’t really treat much of this, end of the day you are negotiating the Dealer sale price, which you should be mindful of the dealer doc fee, that is part of dealer sale price. (they know what profit there is…) I also shopped this for my wife (she’s happy because of the celestial paint!) ---

Thanks for the explanation. Unfortunately I only qualify for half of those rebates (conquest and GM card) but thanks to you I now know what the rules of the GM EV Supplier rebate are.
