Update on mine new pads were ordered and being installed next week at the dealership. Covered under warranty

Believe the lease support went away this month so this would be unhackable.

that’s one part of it, yes. that being said, a lot of these dealers are still listing them as “new” vehicles. figured it doesn’t hurt to toy around.

Wild deal to get. Kind of worth dealing with little issues with the car. Have heard of a bunch of them being lemon law though. Was asking a friend how he liked his and he told me it was on the verge of being finalized to be purchased back.

Miles and smiles to all who got the deal!!

How long has your friend have? What’s there issue?

Sorry it was less than a year. Seemed like he had it longer. Electrical issues with the 48 volt system, and reduced engine power. I’m assuming a lot of the electrical issues were fixed after so many of the 21-22 cars were bought back!

For mine, I did an update that wrecked carplay… then 2 days later a new update fixed things.

If you have outstanding updates I would push them through and see if that helps things.

My $.02 in my first 600 miles (so still not able to really open it up with break in).

… If this car was launched and a v8 63 lineage didn’t exist, people would be freaking out about its performance. It handles reaaaally well for being a SUV, the power is great and shockingly linear. Feels as punchy as my old Model S P100D; crazy from an ICE engine.

… but because it isn’t a “V8 AMG 63” it will never get the appreciate it probably deserves. The car drives great and is a hoot. With gas the way it is, I plan on continue to primarily use my Lyriq for the next 3 months until that has to go back. A few interior things I dont love, but with these deals, I’m pretty happy with it.

Time to go full ricer mode and get these to slap on everwhere. Just believe you have a V8 and it’ll be true. Maybe get 3 sets just in case.

I had same issue with my GLE63. They cut me a $22K check

It’s because you have 8 cars already leased with them.

I mean this is a pretty decent deal then. As long as you get some time with the car its like a savings account. Get the 22k back and immediately get into something else.

12 miles per gallon city driving & 120 smiles per gallon.

I did my longest drive with it yet the other day from my home to the south side of Chicago for work, about 75 miles.
15 miles of 55-60 mph 2 lane highway, 55 miles of interstate at 75-80 mph, and 5 miles of city surface streets and the car said I averaged 27.8 mpg. I wasn’t gooning the thing, but also wasn’t going full hyper-mile. I was pretty surprised with a number that high. I would expect after break in I’ll average low 20’s.

Damn, so with BMW it’s hack then flip to make your effective low or negative (hopefully). Sounds like with Mercedes your only hope is a GOAT deal or a lemon buyback for the same outcome.

This is the patent excuse from every car brand. I’ve heard the exact same thing from Honda, Toyota, Acura, Hyundai, and BMW. Its always Apple/Android and its never us!

Why not both

Dealer said they are replacing my rear differential actuator… nothing about my infotainment :rofl:

There was a check engine light temporarily with my wife last week. Guess that is what they found

I am surprised this thread still open…
