Leasing in Washington state is usually not a great deal, my previous X3M lease was done in Oregon and shipped up. However, there seems to be a glut of C300s from 2025 that aren’t yet sold, and I noticed a deal posted by a local M-B dealer that offered a C300W4 for $389 down, $389/month. I found this offer by creating an AI “skill” that searched all offers across LH, Edmunds, and every dealer and returned the top 25 “highest value” lease deals in WA and OR - I executed the skill through Claude Code and it worked very well, finding some cool potential deals across various models and brands.
On Saturday, I went to the dealership to look at the cars. The ones shown were 2025 models that had been classified as Loaners. One was new with 5 miles, but the other two had 5k miles and the one we test drove was in poor condition for such low miles. When we decided to leave, the finance manager asked what they could do to get us to buy that day. We asked for a C300W4 that was not included in the program that was Starfire Blue with only 44 miles and the Exclusive package - if they could do the posted deal on that car, we would lease it. It was a newer 2025, delivered in August, and did not have the wear and tear of a real loaner.
The sales manager quickly returned with an offer that we accepted - that car for $2500 down (with fees, the $389 down offer has an $1800 out the door cost), which would include the first month’s payment. The monthly payment after taxes is under $400, which is lower than the lease advertised as well. To make this deal, the dealership had to classify this car as a loaner as well. The total price cut from MSRP to make this deal was 22.62%.
I haven’t been able to get the calculator quite right, but I’ve added the lease term sheet as an attachment. It appears to be about 10.3 years score.
