Thanks for all the help and encouragement to the forum I finally pulled the pin on a 2025 Ford Lightning XLT.
‘25 XLT in Antimatter Blue
MSRP $66,720 (incl spray in bed liner)
Dealer Discounted down to $58,000 (13% off MSRP)
$11,750 in rebates (EV RCL $10,250; RCL $1,000; 1st Responder $500)
6.5% tax
$599 dealer fee
$270 maintenance plan (I didn’t ask for this; they just added it so I will likely cancel seeing as how there isn’t much maintenance on these things)
End result was $369.10/mo
Bonus findings was the truck had rubber floor mats embossed F-150 and window tint!
Oh and this comes with the home charger install! I feel like I got a solid deal!
The first monthly payment presented was $571, then $500, then $429, then $399 and we settled at $369 by targeting 13% off MSRP.
There’s a $1000 AXZD plan rebate on Lightning right now. I always thought Xplan just let you pay a price without negotiating. It seemed deals were always better than Xplan price. I remember reading that Xplan limited the dealer doc fee which was a savings in a high fee state. Havent leased/purchased many Ford’s in last 20 years since ive had Xplan to have real world experience though.
