These are actually X3 G45 910i wheels…there is a nearly identical wheel for the 7er but finished in gunmetal gray which looks horrible IMHO

IIRC, when I put on 10 spoke wheels (open design) with dedicated winter tires on my EQS, I lost about 10% range. Hard to know how much of that was due to the cold, the tires or wheel design.
I actually used the same set of wheels on my EQS and 7 series 
I’d imagine, you’d lose less range than that by just removing the fins

So I just came back from the dealer to do a quick test fit to double check and make sure the 910i wheels clear the i7, which they do (I knew they would but the part number for this wheel is all over the place)…and guys in service (a great bunch of guys with whom I have an awesome relationship with) all said WITH FINS!! Lol…I actually purchased a replacement fin for the one damage and despite 100% of the Poll here saying NO fins, I may just go with the original wheel with fins…first world problems I know!!

So much lighter without the fins!! Nah, fins are staying and if I don’t like them after a bit, I’ll jack the bitch up myself and remove the fins myself.

Haha, I’m honestly not regretting keeping the fins attached. But who knows, maybe I’m a few months I’lll change it up and remove them myself. I used to swap out my summer/winter setups all the time, but it’s been so long since I had to do that with these last few cars
