Signed: 2024 BMW i4 xDrive40 loaner - $357/mo with $0 DAS

Signed for this 2024 BMW i4 xDrive40 loaner a couple days ago. Car had 6,724 miles on it. Wasn’t really hunting for a car at the moment but saw this one pop up at my local BMW dealership. Hesitated at first but with some encouragement from @LAK1ngs I ended up taking the deal.

$357.53 per month with $0 due at signing for 36 months/10k miles per year.

Included 2 years of free electrify america charging.

Rebates included $1k for loyalty and $1k college grad. Money factor was marked up from 0.00055 to 0.00095. Couldn’t get them to budge on that.

Tax rate was 7.75%

The car has honestly been a blast to drive. Definitely one of the more fun EVs I’ve had so far. Although most of the EVs I’ve had weren’t really the “fun” kind.

Here is my best attempt at a matching calc

Hi! Where was this deal found? And is the $357 before tax? Thanks!

This is $357 including 7.75% tax. Deal was done in SoCal - non replicable by this dealer anyways though

nicely done. With max MSDs (7), your deal would have dropped to $321 all in.

Thanks! Main reason for not going with MSDs is I think there’s a high likelihood of this car going on swap-a-lease within the next month or two if I can find a cheap i5. Don’t want to deal with the hassle of explaining MSDs or having people put a huge amount down beyond whatever down payment I may ask for.

The MSD would have been only $2450 and why would you ask for a down payment when you didn’t pay one?

Heard of SAL? :squinting_face_with_tongue:

Heard of it but never used it.
I always assumed it was used to get out of a lease and not to flip a lease for profit.

I mean technically I am just using it to get out of my lease

Did yours have premium package or ACC coming with it? I got a similar offer but on a base :((

My car has a couple options but far from loaded. The parking assistance package is definitely nice to have.

Do you think the deal has become magically replicable almost 2 months later? Especially in this market???

Well, squint and blink 357 times and you may get your answer.

Thank you. Wasn’t thinking same deal but at least I know they will be aggressive and willing to make a deal. Some dealers don’t budge 1 bit.

Well now they won’t after 100 people other than yourself reach out lol

Nope, that’s not how it works. @carrot56 just caught them with their pants down. That store isn’t known for their charity.

Yep… this store does NOT like to deal. This particular car just had the perfect storm going for it.

  • xDrive so lower money factor than the other trims
  • Leftover 2024 in August of 2025 (works out for me since the 2024s have the better free charging plan)
  • Had been sitting on the lot for 3 months already and they just NEEDED it gone

That and your relatively low tax rate for CA and additional grad discount.

Let’s hope they ALL ask for the LH special!:rofl::rofl:
