Good afternoon,
after losing out to $120 a month $120 due at signing deal on an Ariya Empower +, due to a buyer getting there before me. I was determined to find a decent deal nearby and landed this Ariya. WA has a 15k sales tax exception for cars sold for under 45,000. This basically made the deal tax free!
Side note: originally we had agreed upon the sale price of 43,941. On the day of coming up, the dealer had changed advertised on their website the sales price of 40770 (dealer discount of 5500, 2000 select summer cash and 1000 ariya cash) so I was pretty stoaked this was going to be a sub $100 deal, however, dealer refused to change price, stating advertised price was purchase only…and that ended there.
So update to this deal. I had talked to the dealer about missing Ariya cash that they had advertised, and he said that he applied it. When I asked about my loyalty cash he said I didn’t qualify. I informed the sales manager that I did qualify and he called Nissan and confirmed with me today that I’ll be getting $1000 check in the mail(since the deal has already been funded)! So got this car for basically 45/m with 0 due at signing.(not sure if the Ariya cash should have gone toward rebates or selling price, but they originally included it in the rebate)
New Calculator below
MSRP: 49,270
Selling Price: 43,941
Rebates: 15180
2000 Summer select Cash
3680 18 month lease cash
1000 loyalty cash
7500 Nmac cash
1000 Ariya cash
I was able to signup to the nissan finance website and have purchased .10/mile now. Yeah, I was never told about it. Unsure why Nissan would do that but I’ll take it and am happy about it.
from what I know I am now sure they could have applied your 1000 at time of signing; it may have put your cap cost below your residual cost. this would have caused the deal not to fund. The only way to take advantage of it is exactly how you did.
The purchase of .10 miles is part of the flex lease.
