I had to go to Utah to find a RWD 2023, but KIA’s current incentives were to good to miss out. I drove the car back to CA yesterday took 4 stops ranging from 15 to 30 minutes at Electrify America stations. Most of the cars I could find closer were AWD and I wanted the longer range of the RWD. Also had to find a dealer willing to lease to an out of state buyer I had a couple that said no thanks.
My flight cost $130 and I lost a day of my life to driving but it was worth it in my book.
24m/10k
MSRP: $50,520
Dealer Discount: $6,520
Dealer Options: $1,194 (PPF and Floor mats $100 over dealer cost, I couldn’t get them to go any lower)
Sales Price: $45,194 (10.54 off MSRP)
MF: .00034
Kia Cash: $9,500
RV: 64%
DAS: $850.83
Monthly Payment: $202.70 ($189.00 + 13.70 Taxes 7.75%)
Cash incentive, MF, RV were based on dealer zip code, and taxes on mine since it is being registered here.
For those that aren’t aware the 2023 EV6 have Cash Incentive from $9,500 to $11,000 depending on Trim and dealer zip code and when you go 24/10 the money factor drops to almost nothing. Most sales people and even some finance managers have no idea, I had to get them to contact their rep at KIA to confirm everything.
This is very true. It’s better to confirm the numbers from Edmunds forum and match with the dealer quote. When I was trying to get a quote few weeks ago, the sales person insisted on their accuracy until I convinced them to cross check the numbers with Kia. Then they realized that the incentives are much higher.
Anyways, congrats OP. This is such a awesome deal for socal. The drive was worth the deal
No one really close. Not a lot of RWD’s to begin with I tried making a deal on some AWD GT lines and Winds but not a lot going.
Cerritos KIA was a waste of time, their finance manager was offended I questioned her $7,500 rebate on the 2023’s they offered me 4K off MSRP but pretty sure their dealer accessories were more than that and she refused to look into the rebate or money factor.
KIA of garden grove has 7k in dealer accessories, so I never even bothered.
San Bernardino KIA and Irvine KIA only had a couple grand to play with so I didn’t push hard.
Best RWD I found in so cal was Imperial KIA on the Mexico border. I think they were 3,500 off MSRP and no dealer accessories or markups. Sales guy was Vincent and super nice, just not as much of a deal as I was looking for.
Does KIA offer One Pay option and would that have lowered the overall cost any further? How about loyalty incentive if you have another Kia or Hyundai?
Yes they do offer One pay I forgot what the discount was, but I saw it on Edmunds. It’s not significant on a 24/10 lease as the MF is already so low. They do have loyalty and military incentives, again you would have to check Edmunds or with the dealer for the amounts.
